Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 15, 2026. This policy applies to visitors located in the United States.
1. Introduction
Our website, https://pinksailswaikiki.com (the "website"), uses cookies and similar technologies. For convenience, all of these technologies are referred to here as "cookies." Some cookies are placed by us, and some are placed by third party services we use to operate the site. This policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can control them.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to remember your actions and preferences over time, and they can also be used to measure how a site is being used or to support advertising.
Each cookie generally has three characteristics: a function, which is the task it performs, such as storing a piece of information; a purpose, which is the reason that task is performed, such as producing usage statistics; and an expiration period, which is how long the cookie remains on your device before it is removed.
3. The types of cookies we use
Functional cookies. These cookies are necessary for the website to work properly. They remember your preferences so you do not have to enter the same information repeatedly, keep your booking selections in place as you move through the site, support your language selection, and help keep the site secure. Because the website cannot function correctly without them, we place these cookies without asking for your consent.
Statistics cookies. These cookies help us understand how visitors use the website, including which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, and where they encounter difficulty. We use this information to improve the site. The data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Marketing and advertising cookies. These cookies allow us to measure the performance of our advertising and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our website. They may create a profile based on your activity on this site and, in some cases, across other websites. They may also record which advertisement or search result brought you here, so we can understand which campaigns are effective.
Call tracking cookies. Our website may display different phone numbers to different visitors so that we can identify which marketing sources generate phone inquiries. These cookies record how you arrived at our site and connect that information to a resulting call.
4. Cookies placed by third parties
Some cookies on our website are placed by outside companies whose services we use. These include, among others:
Our booking and reservation system, which requires cookies to process reservations and payments securely
Website analytics and measurement services
Advertising and social media platforms, including embedded social media content and share buttons
Video hosting services used to display videos on our pages
Mapping services used to show our location and directions
Spam prevention services used to protect our forms
Live chat software used to answer visitor questions
Security and content delivery services that help protect the site and load it quickly
These companies set their own cookies and are governed by their own privacy policies, which may change from time to time. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third party service whose content appears on our site. Several of these companies are located in the United States, and some may process data in other countries.
5. Social media content
Our website includes content from social media platforms, such as embedded posts and share buttons. This content is delivered by those platforms using their own code and places their own cookies. These platforms may use the resulting information for their own purposes, including personalized advertising. Please review the privacy policies of those platforms to understand how they handle your data.
6. Your choices
Consent banner. When you visit our website for the first time, we display a notice explaining our use of cookies. You may accept or decline non essential cookies, and you may change your choice at any time by selecting the consent option available on our site.
Browser controls. You can also manage cookies directly in your browser. Most browsers allow you to delete existing cookies, block cookies from being placed, or receive a notification each time a cookie is set. Instructions are available in your browser's help section.
Please note that if you disable all cookies, parts of our website, including the booking process, may not work properly. If you delete cookies from your browser, they may be placed again on your next visit in accordance with your consent choices.
7. Your rights
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to object to how we process it, to request a copy of it in a commonly used format, and to request that it be corrected or deleted if it is inaccurate or no longer relevant. You may also request that we restrict how we process it.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. For more detail on how we handle personal data generally, please see our Privacy Statement.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law. We encourage you to review it periodically.

Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 15, 2026
Our commitment
Pink Sails Waikiki is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including visitors with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to browse our tours, understand what each experience involves, and make a reservation without difficulty.
We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a box to check. As we update and rebuild parts of our website, accessibility is part of how we design and build, not something added afterward.
What we are working toward
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our reference standard. These guidelines are the widely accepted international benchmark for making web content accessible to people with a range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities.
We have not completed a formal third party accessibility audit of our website, and we do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA at this time. We are describing our goal honestly rather than overstating where we currently stand.
Steps we take
In building and maintaining our website, we work to:
Provide meaningful text descriptions for images that convey information
Use clear heading structure so pages can be navigated with assistive technology
Maintain readable text sizes and sufficient contrast between text and background
Ensure the site can be used on phones, tablets, and desktop computers
Write in plain, direct language and avoid unnecessary jargon
Keep navigation consistent from page to page
Provide skip navigation links so keyboard users can move directly to page content
Label forms clearly so it is apparent what information is being requested
Known limitations
We want to be straightforward about the areas where our website may not yet meet our goal:
Some content is provided by outside services, including our booking system, embedded videos, maps, social media feeds, and live chat. We do not control the code these services produce, and their accessibility may vary.
Some images and documents added over time may lack complete text descriptions.
Some third party content may not be fully navigable by keyboard or screen reader.
We are working to identify and address these issues, and we raise accessibility concerns with our outside providers when we encounter them.
We do not use accessibility overlays
Our website does not use an accessibility overlay, widget, or plug in that claims to make a site accessible automatically. We have chosen instead to work on the underlying design and code of the site. We mention this because these tools are sometimes assumed to be present, and because many people who use assistive technology prefer sites without them.
If you have trouble using our website
If you encounter a barrier on our website, or if there is something you cannot access, we want to hear about it. We will do our best to provide the information or complete the booking with you directly.
Please tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, if you are comfortable sharing that. This helps us find and fix the problem.
Phone: (808) 201-3605 Email: info@pinksailswaikiki.com Mail: Pink Sails Waikiki, 1 Holomoana Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815
We aim to respond to accessibility questions within three business days.
Booking by phone
You can book any of our tours by phone, and our team is glad to walk you through the options, answer questions, and complete the reservation for you. If our online booking process is not workable for you for any reason, please call us and we will take care of it.
Accessibility aboard our vessels
Accessibility on the water is different from accessibility on a website, and we want to set accurate expectations. Boarding involves the harbor dock and vessel access, and conditions vary by vessel and by day.
If you or someone in your group has mobility, sensory, or other accessibility needs, please call us before booking. We will tell you honestly what a given tour involves, what accommodations we can make, and which of our vessels may work best for you.
Feedback
We welcome comments on how we can improve. If something on this site did not work for you, telling us is the most direct way to get it fixed.
